Depression & Mood Concerns
Depression Therapy
When everything feels heavier than it should
Depression doesn’t always look like sadness. Sometimes it’s flatness, exhaustion, or the feeling that you’re going through the motions. It can make even small things feel hard, and it can be difficult to explain to the people around you. We offer depression therapy in Eugene and by telehealth across Oregon, with room to understand what you’re feeling at your own pace.
What it can feel like
- Low mood that lingers for days or weeks
- Losing interest in things you used to enjoy
- Low energy, or feeling tired no matter how much you rest
- Difficulty getting things done, even simple tasks
- Changes in sleep or appetite
- Feeling disconnected from yourself or the people you care about
- A sense of hopelessness or that things won't change
Depression Therapy
How we help
Therapy gives you space to make sense of what you’re feeling and what might be contributing to it, whether that’s current circumstances, past experiences, or patterns that have been building for a while.
Alongside that exploration, we’ll look at small, manageable ways to support your daily life and reconnect with what matters to you. Your therapist won’t push you to do more than you can. The work moves at a pace that feels doable.
Our clinicians draw on approaches ranging from practical, strengths-based work to deeper psychodynamic exploration, and will work with you to find what fits.
Depression Therapy
What to expect
Early sessions focus on getting to know you and what you’re going through. From there, you and your therapist will decide together what to focus on, adjusting as your needs change. Sessions are available in person in Eugene or by secure telehealth anywhere in Oregon.
