Academic & Career Stress

When school or work starts taking over your life

Pressure to perform can come from everywhere: grades, deadlines, bosses, family expectations, and the voice in your own head. When the demands keep piling up, or you’re not sure you’re even on the right path, it can be hard to see a way through. We support students, young adults, and working professionals in Eugene and by telehealth across Oregon.

How we help

Together, we’ll look at what’s driving the pressure and how it’s affecting you. From there, we’ll work on managing stress, getting clear on your priorities, and setting boundaries you can actually keep.

Therapy is also a place to think through big decisions, like changing majors, switching careers, or figuring out what you want next, along with the worries and expectations that come with them.

What to expect

Early sessions focus on understanding what’s going on at school or work, and how it’s showing up in the rest of your life. You and your therapist will decide together what to focus on. Sessions are available in person in Eugene or by secure telehealth anywhere in Oregon, which can make it easier to fit therapy into a busy schedule.
