“All that you touch, You Change. All that you Change, Changes you. The only lasting truth is Change.” – Octavia Butler
The ebb and flow of life and connection to others can sometimes leave us feeling stuck and overwhelmed, and finding a therapist to share those vulnerable moments with can be daunting. I aim to understand without judgment, and it would be an honor to create a safer space where you can explore your past, present, future… and unknowns.
As a Clinical Social Work Associate, I bring a fresh perspective and a deep commitment to ongoing learning. I will humbly co-create the space for change that nourishes the bonds in your life that foster growth, authenticity, energy, and hope. I intend to keep our time together dynamic, creative, and at your pace.
While working with me, here are some of my beliefs that you may come to experience:
Connection is not just a box to be checked, it is a profound human need. Love is not a limited resource. Empathy is not radical. Conflict is an opportunity for reflection and growth.
I prioritize connection and will work with individuals, partners, chosen families, and groups, especially;
- Partners, co-parents, and chosen families who are looking for support in recognizing patterns and behaviors they want to change or repair after a shared stress or trauma.
- Individuals/”helpers” experiencing vicarious trauma and burnout (i.e. caregivers, activists, community workers, etc.).
I enjoy long walks in neighborhoods with fruit trees. I like to watercolor, dabble in poetry, and roller skate with a helmet. I am a tender, queer, parent, friend, learner, advocate for community connection and healing –– and a sucker for hope and slightly inappropriate humor.
